For a long time the goddess Aphrodite has been waiting for a women to come and see her story. If just glance at most pictures of Aphrodite you’ll see that she is undressed. Well what Aphrodite represents is a part of your body. Long time ago ‘they’ found a way to undress Aphrodite and eventually overtime women have forgotten that they are the essence of her.
Have you ever been catcalled by a man? Or felt nervous because you were walking past a group of men that are staring at you? What about tensing your body at a honking car that passes you by? Whenever this happened to me I used to tense up my body, try to shut the noise out and deny it. I think subconsciously I was trying to shrink myself so small that it would never happen and these men (or even in rare cases women) would pass me by. I didn’t realize that in doing so I was making the biggest mistake in the world.
When a woman tenses up her body she is throwing up a masculine shield to guard herself which is in actually what will release a feminine vibration. Anytime a man does this it’s because he want’s your vibration. It’s the purest and most sacred thing in the world. And even when he uses it, it still stays pure however your vibration doesn’t belong to him, it belongs on your body.
I was raised in an ultra conservative church and growing up I was taught to always cover my body up because my body was making men sin. It’s not the body it’s the vibration (and it’s not making them sin, it’s just a pure energy source for them, it’s not the vibrations fault). The feminine works through the subconscious and so in picture after picture Aphrodite has appeared to us unveiled.There’s a secret though, it’s very simple to cloth her and when you cloth the Aphrodite part of yourself you are actually clothing your entire body.
The method is simple, just pretend that you are wearing a very soft piece of lingerie. Next time a car honks or someone cat calls relax your shoulders, relax your hands, relax your jaw, even relax your feet. This is the first step because when you do this, this follows the lingerie pattern of your body. When you tense up your body you go against your pattern and a women’s pattern is soft – this lets your body fall “in” or in another way to say it puts up a feminine shield that only you can see.
If you want to take the protection even further then the next step is to imagine your velvet area and visualize that a perfume bottle that is completely covered in Swarovski crystals sitting in the middle of your velvet. Visualize the color of the diamonds, the shape of perfume bottle, and how much it sparkles and shines in your womb. Keep your body soft while doing this and if at any point this becomes too much to visualize this bottle of perfume while keeping your body soft return to the first step of keeping your body soft (it’s ok, this takes lots of practice). The “why” behind the perfume bottle part of this analogy is that in essence this ‘buttons up” your lingerie. As if you were wearing the lingerie bodysuit.
Sometimes, depending on the situation of course you can respond to the men or even in some case “Bless the compliment” (as Dr. Elizabeth Lambaer refers to it, which is a concept of saying “Oh thank you very much” and continuing about your day, other times it might be letting someone know that it’s not acceptable but sometimes you might not have the energy for that because you are just going about your day but I like about this is that it’s simple, anyone can do this – male or female (because it works both ways) on the go, and this let’s Aphrodite know that you heard her. The other person whose trying to get your essence won’t know what you’ve done but you will because you as a woman have finally put the clothes on Aphrodite.
