There was a woman who had Barbie inside of her body. When she was younger she had brief memories or hints of being Barbie but as she grew older she forgot.
Unexplainable changes started happening to her body and as she grew older these changes continued and became more and more otherworldly.
This woman felt like a mutant.
She forgot she was Barbie.
Other people could tell that she was different but they couldn’t put their finger on it. And so, because they felt uncomfortable around her they cut her down. They shamed her and tried to take her Barbieness away, even though they themselves were replicas of Barbie too.
This woman hated her Barbieness. She tried to tear it off her skin. She spent nights crying alone. And frequently she was under attack from both things both from and not from this world who knew that she was the original Barbie doll.
This woman’s life was painful.
This woman’s life was lonely.
But the more this woman healed the more the Barbie that was hidden inside of her came out.
She was shamed and cast away for healing, and for she also tried to stop it but there was no stopping the transformation.
As her body shifted and changed into Barbie her memories unlocked. They were deep memories. Some happy. Some sad.
No one remembers the name of Barbie. So I’ve chosen Barbie as her name.
