Imagine your living in the perfect body.
What does it feel like to wake up in it?
How does it feel to look at this perfect body in the mirror?
Does your body like certain things?
Certain exercises?
Does she respond better to certain foods?
Does she feel free? Or does she feel caged by her desired shape?
Weightloss happens in the mind before it happens in the soul.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worked with a client and once they began to lose the weight they receive shunning from their friends. I never really understood it. For me, I see us a one-piece of lingerie, with each women being a sparkle or a diamond within the pattern. The more that women turn into diamonds the more the entire pattern will glow.
Weightloss should never feel like a punishment or a trial. Between ourselves or between someone else.
Stepping into the New Year I want you to try something different, and this something different might sound a little crazy. Starting right now, starting this second, I want you to pretend that you have the perfect body.
The secret to manifesting the perfect body is to seduce or romanticizing yourself into having it.
What if, returning to the lingerie analogy, we saw our bodies as a gorgeous piece of lingerie or evening dress?
Eat fast food for the 5th time this week and mess up your dress? No thanks. Celebrate and buy the steak and make some steamed veggies (for those of you not on the wineglass diet) – yes please!
Think of things in terms of “What can I do to keep myself in my most velvet shape?” Instead of thinking to yourself – “How can I get slimmer in the fastest way.” Which secretly can have a sense of desperation to it, instead what would happen if we brought a softer, more feminine approach to our bodies we can say, “What can I do to encourage my most velvet shape?”
It’s the holiday season, from Thanksgiving and the left overs that give way to Christmas treats this may not be the time to eliminate sweets (personally for me, just the thought of that stresses out my nervous system) but what if instead of buying a boxed cake instead you made a homemade one that you save 3 slices for yourself and give the rest to your friends? A beautiful opportunity to tap into your inner soft feminine side of yourself, have some fun homemaking and trying something new while also still staying true to your boss babe era and sticking to your strict guidelines.
The most refreshing thing that you can do is go into this New Year seeing your body itself as new.
A new vibration.
A new canvas to decorate delicately here and there with jewelry.
When in the beginning of each year we tell our bodies, “Ok, your a new body, a completely new body.” It resets our nervous system. Do you feel how free that feels to just be able to say those words out-loud?
Being new means that you have endless options, endless designs, of what lace you are in.
