In the goddesses heaven there were many beautiful flowers. They were all different colors – from a deep cobalt blue to a soft pink. Fresh innocent roses lined the field as far as the eye could see and every flower had their own refreshingly beautiful jewel that sparkled in their center.
One day the birds in the sky told the flowers about a far away place that a group of them had found. “It’s called Earth.” They said, there are rolling hills, forests, and the most beautiful sunrises that you could ever dream about. It’s even more gorgeous there than the goddesses heaven.
The flowers doubted that. Nothing was more beautiful than the goddesses heaven. However once that shred of curiosity had been planted it began to grow. The sunrises here were already so gorgeous – how would it be to see ones that were even more beautiful than this they wondered?
One day they asked the Goddess if they could go, just a portion of them and discover this new place called earth. The goddess hesitated, her flowers were a part of her and she didn’t know a lot about this new place called earth. After a few restless nights which turned into months of them begging she conceded.
“I can’t go with you.” Her words floated through the air. “I’m the sparkle for all of heaven and if I leave all the nourishment that heaven haves will go out to, they all vibrate from my force. But what I can do is give you my body.”
The flowers gasped, they couldn’t believe that the goddess was given them such a gift. The body of a goddess was the body of the universe – sparkling from head to toe in diamonds. But sure enough, the goddess replicated her body 100,000 times and new smaller and even more sparkling dimensions of her body was born. “I just ask that you take care of my body. Nourish her. Respect her. Love her. And treat her like the Queen that she is. She’s what I live in. And once you’ve seen your sunrise on earth come straight back home.”
The flowers that wanted to go to earth agreed. That night as they slept she dipped into the center of the flowers and took their fragrances (this is the what’s at the heart of each flower) she took some of her famous exotic flowers from her different flower specifics as fragrances weaved into the molds of her body. When the flowers woke up in the morning they were wearing the body of the goddess herself. She called the birds and the birds landed and her flower children now set in their new bodies crawled in between their wings and came to earth.
What they didn’t know about though were the monsters that laid hidden in the caves. Excited to see their first sunrise they barely slept through the night and when they sun finally came up over the mountains they gasped! They had never seen anything more beautiful in their life.
The monsters who looked on from their caves saw the body of the goddess and wanted their bodies for themselves, flower fragrances and all. And so they gave the birds a large sum of money and promised them a huge nest on earth entirely made of gold and diamonds if they would tell the flowers a lie. The birds agreed. “Here,” The birds told the flowers, “Over the next hill, there is an even more breathtakingly beautiful sunrise. It’s just a short journey.”
The flowers were excited. “Oh yes!! Yes show us!” They said. And so the birds led them over the hill and right in front of the cave.
“Here you are.” The birds said.
The flowers were confused. “But this is a cave they said?”
“You’ve only seen a sunrise in the sky.” The birds replied. “Sunrises in the sky are pretty but they had them in the goddesses heaven too. A sunrise from the cave is even more sparkly and can only be seen on earth.”
So the flowers agreed to wait for the the sunrise in the morning and make their camp in at night. As they fell asleep they thanked their bodies that they were wearing, they thanked the body of a goddess for riding on the birds wings for them, for allowing them to live in her, and for providing the nourishment that they needed to exist.
During the night the monster came out and they laid a trap. When the flowers woke up they didn’t wake up to sun. They woke up to being bound in chains.
“You belong to us now.” The monsters said. “And the bodies that you are wearing does too. We have heard about the body of a goddess before, we know that it’s alive and that the goddess herself is the tree of life. We’re going to use her as our nourishment through you.” The flowers were scared, and they couldn’t even respond because their flower essences had been drained out. Because the bodies were all connected to the orignal goddess form that moment on every beating, every rape that they weren’t through showed up on the goddesses body too until the monsters immobilized her to the point she had nothing left in her, not even to fight that battle when the monsters arrived in her heaven to take over her space too. They cut down all the rest of the flowers and the ones in her body they kept in captivity. Overtime the flowers forget that they were wearing her body. And they never were allowed to mention her name. “We’re hurting you because of your body.” And so the flowers began to hate the bodies that they were trapped in. This was all a plan, the monsters knew that the hate that the flowers had for the bodies that they were weaved into would show up on the original body of a goddess herself and the goddess would never love herself again.
This is why it’s important from generation to generation women remember their bodies and what their wearing again and teach their daughters how to love their bodies too. So that we can bring the sparkle back to who we are as women and to the goddess herself.
Underneath every women’s lingerie is the body of a goddess. And rubbed into the goddesses body is the a flowery perfume. The softest fragrance from a flower that once was found in heaven.
