Worth is often treated like a hidden diamond within our body when the reality is that it’s all of us. You are worth – not the absence of it, which is why feeling worthless feels so bad – it’s because saying that your worthless is like putting on a dress that is the wrong size (which is why it feels so bad) vs. acknowledging your worth can feel brand new and make you shy and hesitant at “stepping out in that dress” but eventually you realize that it’s really the right fit.
