weekly lingerie fittings: How to design a lifestyle that feels soft, feminine, & sexy.

I believe that a woman’s body is her lingerie made of the softest, silkiest, most luxurious lace in the world and every weekend I do a personal “lingerie fitting” to make sure that I’m fitting into the lingerie pattern that I as a woman want to live in. Instead of seeing fitness and planning and scheduling life in general as a mold that I have to bend myself too – I believe that there is a perfect lingerie set of me as a woman, an effortlessly feminine form of my body and second by second, day by day, minute by minute, year by year I am designing it. And that’s the same that I believe for you too! Each week I perform a “lingerie fitting” to make sure that my lace of who I am is a woman is sparkling “just the right way” and during this fitting I look at the following factors…

  • Meal Prep: At the bare minimum I cook all my proteins for the week so that way regardless of how busy my week gets my meals are a “grab and go” and something that I don’t have to worry about. Having healthy premade meals or at least my proteins set which is the main course for my meal makes it so much easier and effortless for me to be healthier while I reach my goals and to feel the results of it too. 
  • “Brazilian Wax My Finances.”: I’m not even sure how I arrived at this term (well I know how- looking at my finances felt as painful as a Brazilian, hehe). However I put a funny spin to this, if your going to an esthetician who knows what she is doing then she dosen’t leave pockets of hair of hidden places. Everything is taken off and all that is left is a clean and beautiful ultra feminine landscape. When you are finished reviewing your finances there shouldn’t be any scraggly hairs (forgive me for the visual) or huge pockets of hair waiting to be waxed. Everything should be taken care of, lined up and neat. The same goes for your finances, everything should be all out in the open, smooth – with a smooth and simple financial review that gives  your mindset a very feminine shape.  
  • Mind/Body/Spirit/Feminine Energy : Instead of rating my body 1-10, I rate my mindset, body, spirit, and feminine energy 1-10. How everyone defines each sector will be different. For my mind I either look at was A. My mindset clear and focused or what it scattered? Or, B. I borrow a term from my mentor Tonya Leigh and I look at my “Internal Style Guide.” How was I wearing my thoughts as dresses for the week? How was I supporting myself with my inner dialogue? Are there any ways of speaking to myself or coaching myself that weren’t aligned with the fashion brand (for me Versace) that I am? 

With my body, on a scale of 1-10 how well rested was I? Also is there anything else that I need to note about any changes in my body from the last week?

Spirit: Was I “essence filled” or “empty”? Was my spirit full and sparkling or by the end of the week had all of my spirit been drained out of my body?

Feminine Energy: I know that for most the breakdown is mind, body, spirit, soul – however for me, feminine energy is my soul. And being in touch with if I feel depleted of my feminine energy or if my feminine energy feels ultra soft within my body has been a perfect indication to me of the state of both my inner and outer health and of how my body really feels “Underneath my lingerie.”

  • Laundry: This one is self explanatory. Sometimes it’s my clothes one day and my sheets the next,and the beautiful part of this is every-time we wash something we are also watching the energy that also collect on it off too! If it becomes a tedious task try putting on music!
  • Rise Above My Week: This is another practice that I gathered from a conversation my mentor Tonya Leigh once had with a spotlight guest in one of her courses. Unfortunately I don’t remember his name however rising above your week sounds just like what it is – it’s looking at your upcoming week as a whole, rising above it and seeing what overall plan you need to put together for the week. Something feasible and executable. I love the acronym K.I.S.S. which in my world stands for “Keep It Simple and Sexy.” 
  • And last but not least, the Bootylicious Workout: Because a woman can either live her life with curves or without. 

Sometimes along with a weekly lingerie fitting I also perform a monthly lingerie fitting although that is a conversation for another day. Within every woman’s body is the softest most exotic lace and when we treat the luxuriousness and the softness within our body in a soft, sensual feminine way – that is the lingerie design of ourselves in the in essence create and dream from within our lace.
